I have used the entwined snake image often to express old concepts of Goddess healing, expanded love and playful delight. The title of this piece is somewhat irreverent, meant to be a whimsical, tongue in cheek comment on the grass shack in paradise. |

The taro's roots live in the red earth and patterns of the different elements in the soil feed the plant. Collection of Hawaii State Foundation on Culture and the Arts |
![]() 21" x 13" x 10" © A.Kimberlin Blackburn 1999 She is with Green Man in the Garden. She with her palms held up, dressed in a wide skirt with the fish in the center. Her Fish comes from the sea, where her "sister" Our Lady of the Waters sends her to Garden. The couple stand on the path lit by sparkling Sun, a golden path that originates from within Earth where the Beloved sign guides and nourishes their relationship. A fertile, colorful garden with raucous patterns and plants delight in each others company, astride and rooted in Mother's good red soil. |
